THE EYE OF THE STORM – SILENT MEDITATION RETREAT FOR WOMEN
November 5 @ 4:00 pm - November 8 @ 5:00 pm
How many times have you said, ‘I’m going to do a silent retreat, one day?’
I’ve been wanting to offer a silent meditation Sādhanā practice (inward observation and reflection) for a long while now – in a deep, dive, divine feminine kind of way. A sacredly held container of noble silence, meaning a willingly choosing of silence in order to sink into the inner terrain of self. This is the medicine needed for our times.
This is what the retreat looks like:
Close the door to the outer world.
4 holy days in devoted, potent, guided and self meditation.
Away from distractions and chatter. banter. reaching. doing.
Immersed in nourishing silence – and sometimes stillness.
Settle beneath our own skin, in quiet introspection.
Deep dive into our inner terrain.
Self-Inquiry and renewal.
To meet our core wounds, open to witnessing patterns of judgement and jealousy, co-dependency, and woundings
in beautiful natural surroundings.
To become – the eye of the storm
WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?
This immersion is for women who feel ready to:
Free yourself from the busyness of life, soften, and embody.
Learn a tender new way of being and relating to others – one that is often more intimate, considered, compassionate and free from expectations.
Deepen (and define) your divine feminine intuition – meet your authentic self and listen to the wisdoms of your inner voice.
Move into silence and stillness in order to hear the whispers of your deepest desires.
Release limiting beliefs, stuck emotions and energy.
Cultivate practices that support and care for your own inner-child.
Sensually experience your body as your sacred temple.
Cultivate practices that support clarity, creative energy, passion, desire and vitality..
*This is a retreat suitable both for beginners and for women with an established practice, looking for expanding, or deepening their practice. *A Silent Meditation Retreat can feel a little challenging as there’s that uncomfortable feeling of sitting still and being silent. Sometimes we don’t realise how we will feel until we completely stop. Even if your mind takes over and tells you it’s too hard, or not for you, the key to a Silent Meditation Retreat is to trust the process.*There will be times when words will be invited: such as during question and answer sessions and individual sessions with your supports. When words are called for we seek to make our speech concise, truthful, and mindful.
LOCATION: ABOUT THE BIG HOUSE
Held by tranquil energy of the ‘The Big House’ located at Noosa Hinterland on the Sunshine Coast, we will create a discrete and supportive container of ‘Noble Silence’ – the avoidance of unnecessary chatter while providing a deep dive into our inner terrain. The BIG House promotes REALLL Education (Respect for the Earth, Animals, the Land, Life and Love). Wake up and take in the sunrise and all mother Gaia has to offer: watch the mist roll over the hills; all whilst being serenaded by Kookaburras and native wildlife. This beautiful, earthy venue also offers many inside and outside nooks and crannies for women to recede into privacy or simply sit in stillness watching the views and the constantly changing weather.
In order for you to get the most from this experience, this retreat is technology free. Yes, during the retreat, we will be offline. Your phone and devices are to be handed in for safe keeping upon check-in. For your peace of mind, you will be able to provide your loved ones with a contact phone number should they need to get in touch with you.
Arrive: 4-5pm Thursday 5th November II Depart: 4-5pm Sunday 8th November
On the first evening, following a nourishing meal, we will begin with an introductory session to familiarise yourself with the routine for the following days to come and to raise queries and concerns. Noble Silence will begin at the close of this session and remain until Sunday mid-morning. Each day you will benefit from a clear simple structure including guided and unguided meditation sessions, meditative walking, free time, and simple, wholesome meals. We will be weaving a mother basket on Sunday. There will also be space to meet with your guides and space to integrate on Sunday afternoon. We would encourage you to stay on the Sunday night if at all possible for further integration.
WEAVING YOUR MOTHER BASKET
On the last day of the retreat you will be weaving a Wild Mother Basket, reflecting on your own birth into this world and how you now birth projects into the world. This is a powerful process. We will be using wild materials we have sourced from the garden, and vines we have collected from revegetation and clearing sites – cats claw creeper, white moth vine and lantana to weave our beautiful baskets.
Total cost of the Retreat is $800.
3 nights’ accommodation (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) in a shared room at the The Big House in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Optional: We do recommend you stay on the Sunday for further integration. The cost of this will be an extra $110.
Simple, nutritious, organic meals, snacks, brews and teas during your stay, prepared fresh daily.
A deeply healing, nurturing, yet invigorating journey encompassing ritual, initiation, meditation, movement, embodiment practices, group integration, and solo investigation in a beautiful, safe container held by experienced facilitators.
This retreat is limited to a maximum of 12 participants so it is a profoundly personal journey. You will be heard, seen and held as you journey within. It is our greatest honour to share this experience with you.

WHAT OTHER WOMEN ARE SAYING ABOUT OUR PREVIOUS RETREATS:
Attending Sarah’s Divine Feminine Awakening Retreat has been such a soulful experience for me. Sarah was very attentive in the lead up, throughout and in the follow up to the retreat. The many beautiful and profound processes she guided us through provided deep emotional releases. The accommodation luxurious. The food nourishing and delicious. The divine connection with self and other amazing women were the biggest gifts of all. This kind of self-discovery is something I recommend to every woman. Go deep. Release. Relax into your true self and discover the beauty and love within. Sarah’s guidance and support flows from divine love. Take that step inwards today.
